If you sell books through Amazon KDP, this change may affect you.
Amazon just announced through a notification in their KDP dashboard, that paperback and hardback book printing prices will rise on June 20.
Most of the prices are increasing between $0.15 and $0.70.
So if some of your books are giving you a minimal royalty it’s worth logging in and updating your prices.
You can see the upcoming prices against the current prices ones on the price page of each book.
Amazon is also updating its royalty calculator but has said it will take a couple of weeks to show the price differences.
If you have a large number of books that you’d feel you need to change the prices of, Amazon has given details (via the link below) on how to make a one-time bulk update, which you need to start the process of before June 19. Although they have said making a bulk update may take a while to process, so the sooner the better.
