You need to work to keep the momentum

When you’re on a swing you can’t just push it a few times and expect it to keep going forever. You have to use your legs, back and forward, to keep the same momentum or to go higher.

If you just sit there, gravity will do its thing and you’ll slow down and eventually stop.

Any business is the same. We have to work on it to keep it going or to help it grow.

Even so-called ‘passive businesses’, like digital downloads, need to market to keep finding new customers or add more downloadable products to grow with returning customers.

No business is perpetual.
